I was born in Texas, lived in California, owned a resort and real
estate company, and enjoyed traveling as an international flight
attendant for 17 years. Now, after 16 years in the bed and breakfast
business, I know I've found my true passion.
On my first visit to Wellsboro, in the fall of 1987, the quaint
beauty swept me away. Within a week, I had found a Victorian home
and began making a nest. My first bed and breakfast was opened
in 1992.
In 2003, I developed my third bed and breakfast La Belle
Auberge. The home dates back to 1907 and was once Wellsboros
Hospital and has had several owners, including our State Representative,
Matt Baker, who sold the home in 1997, when it first became a
bed and breakfast.
Chloe and I spend time with my two daughters, five grandchildren,
and four great grandchildren. Oh, and I spend spare time conducting
business as proprietor of the Wellsboro Diner and Lambs Creek
restaurant in nearby Mansfield, PA.
My home is your home, so please enjoy your stay in our beautiful
Wellsboro!
